A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Ms. Christensen obtained her law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. She is licensed to practice in all Oklahoma state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Christensen is an active participant in many professional and community organizations. She has served in leadership positions with the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Foundation and the American Bar Association. She served as the 2012 President of the Oklahoma Bar Association. In 2013, she was appointed by Governor Fallin to the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.
In recognition of her contributions to the legal profession, Ms. Christensen received a variety of honors over the course of her career. In 2014, the Oklahoma County Bar Association presented her with an award in recognition of her professionalism. The Oklahoma Supreme Court gave her its Sovereignty Symposium award in 2013.
In 2006, the Oklahoma Bar Association awarded Ms. Christensen the Mona Salyer Lambird Spotlight Award, which is given to notable women in the legal profession. Ms. Christensen was named one of the top 10 family law attorneys by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
